Pointed Pen Magic with Barbara Close

This will be a workshop full of wonderful things that YOU can do with your pointed pen. Barbara will guide us through variations of the traditional Copperplate hand and once understood, then "magic" will happen! Students will be writing in several sizes -- not just small. Wonderful color techniques will give the extra sparkle to the "Abracadabra." Full of fun and great surprises.
About the instructor: Barbara Close is a familiar talent from Southern California who teaches at international conferences in the U.S. and Canada. She is a freelance calligrapher and graphic logo designer whose work can be seen in Glen Epstein’s calendars, the Artful Letter Calligrapher’s Engagement Calendar and SfC’s Artful Book of Days.
