About the instructor: With the help of a mighty but tiny staff, Brenda Broadbent operates Paper & Ink Arts, a catalog supply source for art supplies, books and gifts for calligraphers, from a little town in mid Maryland. Twenty-five years ago, Brenda began Paper & Ink with a partner while working as a librarian in a large suburban library system. In an even earlier incarnation, she worked as a high school English teacher, developing skills that still serve her well. She has studied with Reggie Ezell and Louise Megginson. She and her daughter Jane are delighted to visit Portland again on their way to Letters of Joy and look forward to the drive up the coast
