This class
is for traditional gilding on gesso. Gesso will be made, vellum will
be stretched, quills will be cut, 24k gold will be laid. All levels
welcome, even non calligraphers. $50 additional materials fee covers
all materials including gold.

Introduction to Italic Calligraphy
Beginning July 7th and continuing Mondays as long as there is interest
( it takes a minimum of four classes for the beginning series) The
classroom is located right on the corner of SE 42nd and Hawthorne
in a small gallery. The cost is $15 per class. If you already have
some experience, you can advance to a variety of letter styles or
learn to letter with a brush and colors.
