Membership

We invite you to become a member of the
Portland Society for Calligraphy!

Funded by membership dues and contributions, which are tax deductible, membership runs from January 1 through December 31. We welcome lettering artists of all skill levels, from professional scribes to enthusiastic beginners and even some non-calligraphers who appreciate the lettering and book arts.

Monthly meetings offer the fellowship of calligraphic colleagues. Each meeting features a  local or visiting presenter who shares information, slides and demonstrations on topics related to lettering and book arts. Our newsletter features timely notices about our exhibits, meeting dates and workshop schedules, and news of events sponsored by other calligraphic societies.

How to apply

The membership application is in Adobe's PDF format. If you don't already have the most recent version, you can download Acrobat Reader for free from Adobe's website.

Membership dues of $25 are for the calendar year beginning January 1 through December 30. Memberships at contributing levels are available.

To be included in the annual Membership Directory dues must be received no later than March 1. You may choose to have your address and/or email address not included in our member directory. Your email address will not be sold or given to any outside entity. It is only used to facilitate communication between PSC members and to inform you of news and events.
