9101 SE Sunnybrook BlvdThe Portland Society for Calligraphy invites its members to enter 2-3 pieces at the Annual Open Show. This year the show will be at the Skylight Gallery in the Sunnybrook Service Center in Clackamas County and is organized by the Arts Action Alliance of Clackamas County. The 4th-floor gallery walls surround an open skylight above the 3rd floor, with three pedestals for displaying books. No nudes or risqué subject matter.
Download the entry form and send to Elaine Young by March 28 via email or snail mail so she can forward this info to the gallery. The gallery is providing the labels for display at the gallery.
Please include: name, title, medium, price. Maximum of three pieces per member, please indicate if you have more than three in case we are in need of more work. There is no time limit for when the work was created! We want to showcase the diversity of talent among our members.
Drop-off locations for art will be updated soon. All art work, except that for the cases, must be "well mounted, cleaned and in good repair. Any mats & frames should be free of dirt & damage with clean glass and hanging wire securely attached." When you deliver your art, please copy the entry form labels, making two copies: one for the back of the piece and one for the outside. PLEASE LABEL THE OUTSIDE WRAPPING SO WE CAN IDENTIFY YOUR WORK AND SO WE CAN RETURN YOUR WRAPPINGS TO YOU.
